The client brief for this garden in Cambridge, was for a formal and symmetrical design with a subtle Mediterranean feel.  Views across the gully were to be framed, while also screening industrial buildings in the distance.  Additional outdoor seating, a water feature, pebble paths, focal points, privacy from neighbours and a path along top of gully were some of the other design considerations.
